Learn multiple media skills to be competitive in today’s media job landscape.

Take a wide range of courses in writing, editing, design, video production, integrated media and photography. Students who are skillful in media convergence are poised to meet the demands of the 21st century media landscape. 

Gain expertise in using high-definition cameras and a digital media lab that features graphic design, illustration, web design and digital audio and video production hardware and software. Work with Pacific’s Media Arts Production Services, or produce digital stories for the student run newspaper, The Pacific Index,  to gain practical job experience. Many students take advantage of the opportunity to take media classes on a study abroad for a semester at York St. John University in York, England, that also boasts a robust media course selection.

In a remarkable convergence of talent, passion and academic backgrounds, seven Pacific alumni  were among the scores of people who helped make the acclaimed stop-motion film in Portland. The film took about three years to create and was released Dec. 9. It’s gotten rave reviews and will receive Oscar consideration.
